has grown and prospered to serve the area population with
full services including emergency department, pediatrics,
women's services, ICU, cardiology, inpatient physical rehabilitation,

just completed facilities planning to incorporate a new 30,000

imaging, rehab, wellness center, education center and new
office space; a second building will house an 11,000 square
foot cancer center. It is also moving and expanding services
such as women's & children's and skilled nursing acute
care. The organization will also soon begin installation of
McKesson clinical and management information systems and has
agreed to be one of the first sites to install the CPOE system.
In addition, a PACS is being added. Exemplifying its forward
momentum, the medical center was just designated the lead
Level III trauma center in the RAC.
The Medical Center now seeks a Chief Nursing
Officer to lead a staff of 200 employees in delivering quality
nursing care. Working through eight Nursing Managers, the
CNO will instill a sense of accountability and capability
to empower nursing staff to take ownership of patient and
physician satisfaction. As a corporate officer, the CNO will
facilitate advancements in the profession of nursing that
will provide the organization's nurses a sense of commitment,
satisfaction and efficacy.
