The Opportunity
Our client, an 800+ physician faculty practice plan, is affiliated with one of the country’s largest university health systems. It is the largest multi-specialty group practice in South Texas. The practice plan currently earns revenues of $225M and has launched an impressive initiative to increase market presence, leverage high-end services to the community and expand the capabilities of staff. The organization is in the early stages of installation of the EPIC Practice Management Software and EMR. Central to its continued growth and expansion, the organization broke ground in late 2006 on a $95 million, 250,000 square foot ambulatory center; it is anticipated to open in the summer of 2009.
